Catering
When ordering in advance, we offer catering for groups (minimum 10 persons) in cooperation with the small local company- Ulgumaa Buffet. The size of the group is 10-25 people- in winter season (October- April). During summer season we can accept bigger groups- up to 50 persons, because we can use our summer terrace. We offer 3- course menu. Catering for smaller groups than 10 people by arrangement.

Guided nature hike in Haanja Nature Park
Maris, the owner of the winery, is a biologist and nature guide by profession and will take you hiking on the hiking trails of Haanjamaa – for example, the local Kavadi Lake hiking trail, the Vällamäe hiking trail, or Luhasoo bog trail instead.

Craft wines created with deep passion!
We are Mati and Maris Kivistik- a small family business. We make craft wines from our own and other local ingredients. We make exciting wines from nordic grapes, sea buckthorn, rhubarb, black currant, japanese quince, raspberry and other berries. Experimenting with new flavors is our passion.
Our farm is located in Võrumaa, Rõuge municipality, Uue-Saaluse village, on the shore of the beautiful Lake Alajärv. It is about 10-15 minutes by car from Võru to us – 15 km. Drive to us along a dust-free road! To do this, choose the Võru-Haanja road, where you have to turn left at the Risttee bus stop, where it shows 4 km to Kavadi lake.
We are waiting for you to visit us to take part in the activities of a small wine farm, the beautiful nature of Haanja Nature Park and the peaceful rural life. Lake Kavadi hiking trail
Near our farm is the Uue-Saaluse manor park, with the picturesque Kavadi lake, where a 4.5 km long hiking trail starts, which goes around the lake. The lake has 4 small islands. The family of the winery will be happy to guide you to explore the local nature and cultural heritage. This, of course, must be arranged before. There is a nice swimming and camping spot with two campfires in the manor park. Get more info from HERE.
